ENJOY A SPRING WALK IN THE ARBORETUM

Join the Emerald City Wanderers for a delightful walk through the Arboretum and Foster Island on Saturday, March 22. This 10K, noncompetitive walk (with a 5K alternative) can be started anytime between 9 AM and 1 PM, with a finish time of 4:00 PM. The Walk will start at UW parking lot E-5.

The walk will be on city sidewalks, gravel, and bark trails in the Arboretum, Marsh & Foster Islands and the UW campus. Some steps make it suitable for "jog buggies" but not strollers. No pets are allowed on Foster Island; alternate route available

DIRECTIONS:

From I-5: Exit 168B (SR520/Bellevue) Take the Montlake Blvd/UW exit off 520. Left onto Montlake Blvd, past Husky Stadium, athletic facilities, and E-1 Parking Lot. Stay right as Montlake curves to right and becomes NE 45th St. Turn right at Mary Gates Way (5 way stoplight/intersection past U Village). Turn right on Clark Road and follow signs to E-5 Parking Lot. There is a $2 parking fee at the lot until 12 noon.
